How one’s heating solutions compares to others in terms of costs

An understanding of how competitiveness impacts different customer groups

Solid data as input to pricing model changes to increase competitiveness

The cost of fuels, especially biofuels, has increased during the last several years. At the same time, the cost of heat pumps has also seen price increases. This has stirred the market so that suppliers of district heating and/or heat pumps no longer have a clear understanding of their competitiveness.

Through dozens of projects, I’ve helped customers understand their competitive position so that they could take data-based measures to adapt or transform their heating product. In collaboration with Profu, I’ve also designed a web-based application where users can calculate their costs of heating for different buildings and different technologies.

Depending on the need, I am able to customise such a model using R or Python.
